FAYETTE COUNTY – A Northern Iowa man crashed his jeep in an ice cold farm field where he then took an impromptu siesta, and when cops discovered his icy body, they cuffed him up and deposited him in a jail cell.
On November 15, 2025, at approximately 12:42 AM, Fayette County deputies were called to the area of Nature Road and M Avenue in reference to an abandoned emergency call. Upon arrival at the location, deputies located a red Jeep Grand Cherokee with its emergency flashers on and a body lying near the vehicle in a farm field. Upon investigating, deputies learned that the body located was the driver, 22-year-old Jesus Daniel Tinajero-Lule of Waucoma, Iowa, and he was traveling westbound in his 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee when he lost control, causing him to travel into the north ditch and ultimately stop in the farm field.
Tinajero-Lule was found to have minor injuries and his vehicle sustained major damage. Tinajero-Lule showed signs of impairment and after the completion of the investigation into the accident he was arrested and charged with:

He was transported and held at the Fayette County Jail to await appearance in front of a magistrate. The suspect is awaiting an arraignment hearing this month.
