“President Biden’s short-sighted stance on electric vehicles is undermining Iowa’s renewable fuel industry while simultaneously jeopardizing America’s energy independence. This announcement follows the Biden Administration’s failure to support renewable fuels in the infrastructure package currently being negotiated in Congress. It’s a harmful pattern that must be reversed.
“With the policies we see coming out of Washington, it’s never been more important that Iowa fights for renewable fuels like ethanol and biodiesel while looking for new ways to invest in the high-quality products we produce right here, right now in our state.”

Most of the materials used to build those batteries only are found in China and they produce most of those batteries as well. If we become dependent on Electric vehicles, the Chi-com’s could shut off supply at any time and effectively shut our country down.

China has 93 “gigafactories” that manufacture lithium-ion battery cells, vs. only four in the United States.
China controls the electric car market anyway. The same way they currently control the semiconductor market(electric cars use them, fossil fuel vehicles use them, computers, ETC..)

Electric vehicles need to pay for the building and maintenance of roads just like gas vehicles do.
NO,NO,NO, they have to have federal incentives and tax breaks. They don’t use fossil fuels so they don’t need to pay “gas”tax for highway infrastructure.
Nobody is mentioning the big one though. Ask the animated corpse in the Whitehouse, “How do those that don’t live in a liberal shithole, charge their vehicle when there isn’t any charge stations?”
The follow up question is, “How is all this extra electricity going to be produced? You already have rolling blackouts in the Republic of California due to lack of power. It isn’t the only place.”
They say solar and wind, you can’t store the electricity, so you NEED FOSSIL FUEL generation plants, OOPS.
How much carbon gets put in the air to build a wind turbine? A solar panel? An electric vehicle? How many toxic chemicals are released into the air or water to make that lithium battery?
