PERRY, IOWA – This Iowa woman is accused of the heinous and unthinkable deed of taking a young child to a roachy hotel and attempting to sell her to a john.
On or about January 21, 2025, at an unknown time, 41-year-old Amanda Jean Goff (pictured at top) transported A.H, a 14-year-old female, to the Super 8 Motel in Perry, Iowa, with the intention to sell A.H. into commercial sexual activity.
Upon arrival, the defendant engaged with her co-defendant to discuss the price to have the child engage in sexual activity while in a hotel room.
According to review of the evidence, A.H. captured the conversation between the Defendant and co-defendant. During the conversation, the co-defendant and defendant agree on a price for the co-defendant to sexually engage with the child.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Perry Police Department have charged Amanda Jean Goff with one count of Human Trafficking in the First Degree.
Goff was taken into custody without incident at the Sac County Jail where she had been held on related offenses. Human Trafficking in the First Degree is a class A felony.
The investigation was a collaborative effort between city, county, state, and federal law enforcement partners. Technical support was provided by the Iowa Office to Combat Human Trafficking (OTCHT).
