DES MOINES – Leftists are melting down and protesting after ICE nabbed a possibly skilled alien fraudster from Guyana who was prancing about Iowa’s capital city with a loaded gun, a sharp blade and thousands in cash, and now their shrill cries of unfairness are piercing the ears of the sane, who are soaking in the comeuppance as Ian Roberts had his fat $286,716 salary snatched away today along with his education license.
Salty Karens converged on a detention center in Des Moines as Ian Roberts, the shamed Guyana national and illegal alien who was hired by a delusional board of education (all women) in Des Moines, to run the state’s largest school district, was placed there to await further removal proceedings. The women screamed insults at police and carried signs, demanding his release, even after Roberts tried to flee from authorities and set a horrible example for his employees and students. During a targeted enforcement operation on Sept. 26, 2025, officers approached Roberts in his vehicle after identifying himself, but he sped away. Officers later discovered his vehicle abandoned near a wooded area. State Patrol assisted in locating the subject and he was taken into ICE custody. He was caught with thousands in cash, a loaded gun, and a sharp blade.
Roberts (pictured at top) was in Des Moines for a period of time and then, reportedly, taken to a facility in Pottawattamie county, and then moved to an unknown location as his removal from the United States proceeds forward.
Meanwhile, the delusional and clearly incompetent Des Moines School Board (completely comprised of women) had placed Roberts on paid leave after his hijinks. The backlash was swift and brutal from the taxpayers, however, and finally, the board today unanimously yanked Roberts’ nearly $300,000 ($286,716) salary. Jackie Norris is one of these board members, and is running for U.S Senate to fill the seat of the retiring Republican Joni Ernst. Norris once served as Michelle Obama’s chief of staff, and her husband, John Norris, is a former Chair of the Iowa Democratic Party. After Roberts’ arrest, Norris took to a microphone and declared that Iowans must have “radical empathy” for the Guyana man who is more or less now disappeared into the fog of justice. She has also used the opportunity to beg for contributions to her ill-fated campaign that is likely now on life support.
To make matters worse for Ian Roberts, allegations are flying that he, as an illegal alien, has been voting in American elections (for Democrats) for years, fueling calls from the right to audit voter rolls.
Yesterday, the Iowa Board of Education Examiners yanked Roberts’ education license. See below:
