Gregory J. Rollins, 66 of Mason City, died Saturday morning, September 13, 2025.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 Monday, September 22, 2025 at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 2nd ST. SE, Mason City. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Inurnment will be at a later date in Indianola, Iowa. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Toys for Tots program.
Gregory “Fuzzy” J. Rollins was born on May 1, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa and was adopted by Kenneth and Viola (Johnson) Rollins. He attended school in Sheldon, later graduating from high school. He did various jobs in his career over several cities including Sioux City, Nashua and other North Iowa areas. He started his own pallet business, Grain Millers and Martin Marietta, and Hormel’s. For the past 10 years he worked as a machine operator for Curries, retiring due to his health. He married Sheryl Rollins and had two children. While in school he played football, wrestled, but was most known for being on the swim teams. He loved riding his Harley Davidsons, being a prankster, setting off pyrotechnics, serving as an officer in ABATE, and started a local Toys for Tots program.
Surviving Greg is his wife Sheryl Rollins, his children, Erin Rollins of Kensett, and Adam and his wife Kelsie Rollins of Mason City, and six grandchildren Taryn and Tucker Henderson, Madelyn Jo, Amelia Grace and Emerson Jean Baumann, and Weston James Rollins, and one sister Merilee Robbins of Carlisle, Iowa, and his special friend and caretaker during his fight with cancer Allison Dutcher.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
