MASON CITY – The following are the expenses paid by Cerro Gordo county and Board of Supervisor meeting minutes for the period ending on August 4, 2025:
PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
August 4, 2025
The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa,
met in regular session pursuant to adjournment. Present:
Chairman Chris Watts, Vice Chairman Casey Callanan,
Supervisor Carl Ginapp, and various members of the
public.
Chairman Watts convened the meeting at 10:00 a.m.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to approve
today’s agenda and the minutes for the July 28, 2025
special session and July 28, 2025 regular session. Motion
passed unanimously.
Public comment session was held.
Ginapp moved with Callanan seconding, to approve
claims. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to approve the
payroll register for period ending 07/26/2025. Motion
passed unanimously.
Ginapp moved with Callanan seconding, to approve
Fireworks Display Permit for Bobby and Kim Bosch.
Motion passed unanimously.
County Engineer Billings provided an update.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to approve
closure of Walnut Street between Southshore Drive and
Lakeview Drive. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to adjourn at
10:13 a.m. Motion passed unanimously.
Various tabulations, reports, correspondence and other
documents that were presented at today’s meeting are
placed on file with the supplemental minutes.
