The suspect, 37-year-old Joshua Daniel Webber, had fled the scene after allegedly assaulting a female at the residence in Hawkeye. Webber was later located at a residence in New Hampton, placed under arrest and transported to the Fayette County Jail.

Webber was charged with the following crimes:

– Child Endangerment

Webber posted 10% of $4,000 cash bond and was released from jail the same day. He now awaits a preliminary hearing set for March 4.
