ARLINGTON, IOWA – After a 3-week long investigation, authorities nabbed two men they say gave a child cocaine, marijuana, and edibles and then committed heinous acts.
On January 19, 2025, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 29-year-old Taylor Mathew Keppler of Arlington, Iowa, on a Fayette County Arrest Warrant. Keppler was charged with three counts of Drug Distribution to a minor, including Cocaine, Marijuana, and Edibles, all Class B Felonies, and 4 counts of Sex Abuse 3rd Degree, C Felonies, the sheriff’s office said.

Also related to this case and arrested on a Fayette County Warrant was 22-year-old Henry David Hamlett of Arlington, Iowa. Hamlett was charged with 10 counts of sex abuse 3rd Degree.

Both Hamlett and Keppler were taken into custody and transported to Fayette County Jail, where they were held on $45,000 cash surety bond (Hamlett) and $30,000 cash surety bond (Keppler).
If convicted both individuals face over 85 years in prison.
