SPRINGVILLE, IOWA – Investigators are working a possible crime scene at an Iowa home after two people were found with fatal gunshots wounds.
On Sunday, November 24, 2024, at approximately 3:50 PM, deputies with the Linn county sheriff’s office along with Linn County Sheriff Rescue 57, Iowa State Patrol, Springville Fire Department and Anamosa Ambulance Service were dispatched to 718 Wild Pine Ct. in Springville, Iowa, for two individuals found deceased.
Upon arrival, first responders located the two individuals with apparent gunshot wounds. Both decedents were transported to the State Examiner’s Office in Ankeny, Iowa for further investigation. The names of the deceased individuals are being withheld at this time until notifications can be made to the next of kin.
This incident is still under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office. At this time, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office does not believe there is a danger to the public in regards to this incident.
