MASON CITY – The following are the expenses paid by Cerro Gordo county and Board of Supervisor meeting minutes for the period ending on November 7, 2024:
PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
November 7, 2024
The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa,
met in special session pursuant to adjournment at
11:17 a.m. Present: Chairperson Lori Meacham Ginapp,
Vice Chairperson Chris Watts, Supervisor Casey
Callanan (via phone), and various members of the public.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve today’s
agenda. Motion passed unanimously.
Public comment session was held.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to go into closed
session pursuant to Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(c) to
discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently
in litigation or where litigation is imminent where its
disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the
position of the governmental body in that litigation at
11:17 a.m. Roll call vote: Callanan – Aye; Watts – Aye;
Meacham Ginapp – Aye. Motion passed unanimously.
Watts moved with Callanan seconding, to come out of
closed session at 12:17 p.m. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to adjourn at
12:17 p.m. Motion passed unanimously.

placed on file with the supplemental minutes.

The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa,
met in special session pursuant to adjournment at
2:00 p.m. Present: Chairperson Lori Meacham Ginapp,
Vice Chairperson Chris Watts, Supervisor Casey
Callanan, and various members of the public.
The purpose of the meeting was to review quotes for
flooring replacement in the west annex and building and
grounds updates.
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at
2:22 p.m.
