WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA – It was just another nutty, out-of-control Sunday for the slipping Donald Trump, who craves attention and welcomes chaos every minute of his life.
Early Sunday, Donald Trump posted to a social media account is most intimate of feelings, saying, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” Probably miffed that Taylor had earlier endorsed Kamala Harris and sent hundreds of thousands of swifties racing to register to vote. Trump loves to sell Bibles but apparently never read the part where it warns you reap what you sew.
Trump’s Sunday got steadily worse when the Des Moines Register released an Iowa poll showing Kamala Harris rapidly catching up with the defeated ex-President. Trump once led Joe Biden by 18 points here. Now it is just a 47-43 Trump advantage. The news emboldened Iowa Democrats who smell blood in at least two Iowa Congressional districts. After Trump was trounced in a recent debate with Harris and declared that pets are on the menu, many folks now say that is a bridge too far. Prior to that deranged performance, Trump was still loved by MAGA worshippers, who paid no mind to his sexual assaults, felony convictions, man-love for Vladimir Putin, his dismal performance in handling the economy and COVID pandemic, his 4 years of grift in the White House, his mocking of handicapped folks, women, persons of color, immigrants…
To cap off his nutty Sunday, reportedly the Secret Service tackled Trump on the 5th hole of some golf course to protect him from a nut with a gun. Ho hum, who knows if this “assassination attempt” was real or, as some folks speculate, was staged, like the time someone fired a gun in his direction. The Department of Justice describes the incident:
Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, of Hawaii, has been charged by a criminal complaint in the Southern District of Florida with firearms charges related to an incident at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach on Sept. 15.
Routh was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession and receipt of a firearm with an obliterated serial number and made his initial appearance today before Magistrate Judge Ryon M. McCabe in the federal courthouse in West Palm Beach. A detention hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 23. The investigation remains ongoing.
According to allegations in the criminal complaint, a Secret Service agent walking the golf course perimeter saw what appeared to be a rifle poking out of the tree line. After the agent fired a service weapon in the direction of the rifle, a witness saw a man later identified as Routh fleeing the area of the tree line. Routh was later apprehended by officers from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
The complaint alleges that in the area of the tree line from which Routh fled, agents found a digital camera, a backpack, a loaded SKS-style rifle with a scope and a black plastic bag containing food. The serial number on the rifle was obliterated.
According to the complaint, Routh was convicted of felonies in North Carolina in December 2002 and March 2010.
The FBI is leading the ongoing investigation. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the U.S. Secret Service are providing assistance.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida and the Counterterrorism Section of the Justice Department’s National Security Division are prosecuting the case.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Harris and the Democratic Party are all working together with the secret service and are trying to get rid of him so they can stay in office..
After the first attempt and everything that went down and how it all just looked so off nothing surprises me with the far left anymore!
The “first one” was so obviously staged, it was pathetic, like Drumpf. Anybody who’s ever been on a movie or tv set, as Drumpf has, knows where to get blood squibs and how to use them. What those idiots didn’t count on was that their stunt would embolden a REAL wannabe, who then got comfy outside the golf course for 12 hours.
Well, you are right about one thing, sort of. Harris is definitely “working” to “get rid of him” and she’s doing it by beating him in the election. Check the polls to see how that’s coming, and don’t murder too many kleenexes while you you do it. (waaaaaaaaaaa)
