NEVADA – Authorities tracked down a man and a woman accused of murdering a 7-month-old baby in Iowa.
On Sunday, June 11, 2023, at approximately 6:06 PM, the Nevada Public Safety Department was made aware of a death involving a 7-month-old child in the City of Nevada. An investigation was launched to determine the events leading to the death. As a result of that investigation, the following wrest warrants were requested on September 18, 2023:
-Juan Angel Montallo A (age 35) for Murder in the 1st Degree and Child Endangement causing Death
-Sheyenne Nichole Shore (age 23) for Murder in the 1st Degree and Child Endangerment causing Death
The two individuals are currently in custody in California for additional charges not related to this case. The two individuals will be returned to Iowa for these charges.
