WINDSOR HEIGHTS, IOWA – An Iowa woman was shot twice at her house in a drive-by attack over the weekend.
On Sunday morning, at 2:15 am, officers responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of 65th Street. Once on scene, a female victim was located at a residence. She had been shot in the arm and in the chest. Officers provided emergency aid until medics arrived. The female was transported to an area hospital by the Windsor Heights Fire Department. Her current condition is unknown.
The suspect was reported to be in a four-door brown sedan and shot at the victim when the vehicle drove by the residence.
