OELWEIN – Police raided a house in this small Northern Iowa town and nabbed a wanted woman and illegal drugs.
At approximately 8:02 p.m. on Monday, September 18th, 2023, the Oelwein Police Department executed a search warrant at 102 8th Ave. NW Apt. 12A in Oelwein. During the course of the search warrant, illegal controlled substances were located and seized. The following subject has been arrested and charged:
Euniceshia Jonwonda Bernice Watkins (pictured above), 28 of Oelwein:
– Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine- Serious Misdemeanor
– Possession of Controlled Substance-Marijuana- Serious Misdemeanor
– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia- Simple Misdemeanor
The subject also had a valid outstanding warrant for her arrest. That arrest warrant was also served. She was taken into custody and transported to the Fayette County Jail pending an initial appearance. Additional charges are pending.
