Along with her parents and 3 siblings, Novaleigh, Nashtyn, and Everly, she is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Mark Reimers and Peggy and Jason Jennings; paternal grandparents Ty and Bridget Riser and Penny Gordon; maternal great-grandparents, Gerald and Connie Reimers and John and Judy Jennings, paternal great-grandmother, Barbara Gordon; aunts and uncles, Emily (Brandon) Minear, Adam Reimers, Colby Jennings, Cooper Jennings, Abbie Riser, Nikka (Besim) Pivic, Kylee Riser, and Zane Riser; 7 cousins, and many other relatives. Wren was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Willard and Marilyn Thompson, and paternal great-grandparents Ron Riser and Karrie Willier.

A private family service will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, at Oakcrest Funeral Services of Algona with Pastor Clevey Ragsdale of the Garner E-Free Church officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Bancroft.

Wren will always be loved, always be missed, and always be remembered.

Aristotle wrote of a contest amongst all the birds to determine their leader. It was decided that she who could fly the highest would earn the crown. It looked like the eagle would win handily. Except that a clever little wren hid in the proud eagle’s plumage. At the last minute, she soared ahead on her own, and the title with to the wren instead.
