MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was hurt and cited after driving her car into a ditch.
On August 21, 2022, at approximately 8 PM, 19-year-old Cree RosaMarie Gobeli of Mason City-was driving a black 2005 Nissan Altima eastbound on 290th Street when a animal entered the roadway, at which time she swerved to miss hitting and lost control of her vehicle and went into the ditch. Ms. Gobeli sustained minor injury as a result of this accident and was treated on scene by Mason City fire medics. Ms. Gobeli was cited for failure to maintain control.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Mason City Fire Medics.
