CORALVILLE – Authorities say they are investigating the death of an Iowa child molester in prison.
Carmon Noel Lyddon was pronounced dead due to natural causes at 8:11 a.m. on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center. Lyddon was 75-years-old at the time of his death. His convictions were for four convictions of the crime of Indecent Contact with a Child (709.12), Special Sentence Revocation 1st Offense (908.5[2]A), Special Sentence Revocation 2nd or Subsequent Offense (908.5[2]B), and four special sentence modifications of Special Sentence D Felony or Misdemeanors/10 Years Parole (903B.2). All convictions were from Polk County.
The incident remains under investigation, the Iowa Department of Corrections says.
This is exactly what’s wrong. I don’t want my tax dollars spent to figure who or why a child molester was killed, unless we are trying to find out so we can buy cake or an early release for the child molester a killer because whoever killed him is obviously a better person than most north iowa judges and prosecutes. Why is Iowa’s legal system so doting and protective of sexual predators? It has got to stop. Sexual predators deserve to be tortured and killed. It’s called JUSTICE.

75 and in prison. Was to be exact. Remembering back when all those priests were exposed in the 90’s. Then it was the boy scouts. And the constant stream of teachers that never ends. Shameful people. It’s almost as if a heavy cruse is hanging over this nation of people when you throw in all the other things happening. The shootings are appalling. The craziness of the pandemic and all it’s smoke and mirror philosophies. Thinking the national 4th holiday added to this new surge. As will the state fairs. And the fires are horrendous. The marches, riots, and over the top vandalism is rampant. Then there’s the wholesale greed undermining our very society going on without proper checks and balances. One thing is for certain. We are not going back to the way it was, we are going forward. And by the way, investigate what? He died in prison.
