RURAL CLEAR LAKE – A Swaledale man was hurt when his car collided with a semi near Clear Lake.
On May 6, 2021 at 6:08 PM, the Cerro Gordo County sheriff’s office responded to 210th Street and Interstate 35 for a two vehicle collision. A 2021 Freightliner Semi tractor trailer driven by Jean Moukolo, 52, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, was turning east on to 210th Street from the Interstate off ramp. A 1995 Ford Mustang driven by Robert Paulsen, 75, Swaledale, was driving West on 210th Street. The Ford Mustang collided with the trailer of the semi on the roadway.
Paulsen sustained minor injuries in the collision and was transported to the hospital.
The Cerro Gordo County sheriff’s office was assisted by Mason City Fire Department, Swaledale Fire Department and Rockwell/Swaledale EMS.
