DES MOINES – Gov. Kim Reynolds ordered all flags in Iowa to be lowered to half-staff effective immediately until sunset on Saturday, November 10, 2018, to honor the murdered and injured in Wednesday’s mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, California. The governor’s order is issued in conjunction with President Donald Trump’s order to lower all United States flags to half-staff for the same length of time.
Flags will be at half-staff on the State Capitol Building and on flag displays in the Capitol Complex. Flags will also be half-staff on all public buildings, grounds and facilities throughout the state.
Individuals, businesses, schools, municipalities, counties and other government subdivisions are encouraged to fly the flag at half-staff for the same length of time as a sign of respect.
On Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:20 pm, there was an active shooter incident at Borderline Bar and Grill, at 99 Rolling Oaks Dr., Thousand Oaks, CA 91361.
There are 12 victim fatalities, including a Ventura County Sheriff Sergeant. An additional 23 victims were treated at area hospitals and have since been released. The shooter is confirmed as deceased and there is no active threat to the community.
Ian David Long, age 28, was later identified as the shooter.

I;ll tell you what you did. There were off duty police and security in the bar and they were not allowed to be armed due to bullshit California Laws and people are now dead because of you liberal assholes.
