MASON CITY – NIACC freshman designated hitter/first baseman Kamrin Arons was selected as the ICCAC baseball player of the week for the week of March 26-April 2.
Arons, who is from Bettendorf, was 7 for 13, including three home runs, with 10 RBIs in the four-game series against Northeast CC. Arons hit two home runs in the Trojans’ 15-1 first-game win over Northeast CC on Monday.
Arons is hitting .324 with four home runs and 21 RBIs.
Arons is the second NIACC player to win ICCAC player of the week honors. The Trojans’ Fox Leum won the award for the week of Feb. 19-25.
