Carlos O’Kelly’s restaurant in Mason City closes

MASON CITY – The Carlos O’Kelly’s restaurant in Mason City has closed. Yesterday, May 30, was the last day of business. The restaurant will not likely re-open, NIT is told by a supervisor who answered a phone call there. There appeared to by persons at the restaurant, located at 3331 4th Street SW, working to mothball the building Wednesday, which is owned by USRP FUNDING 2001 L P out of Scottsdale, Arizona and assessed at over $1.2 million.

  1. Always seemed to be busy, ate there a few times but never figured out why they were busy… the place sucked!!!

    Heat lamp hot cheese with cold food underneath. Wouldn’t honor coupons my kids received from school. Charging for drinks that we never even ordered.
