There is a burgeoning movement to eliminate and greatly reduce the 10,000 plus Federal laws on the books which can be used against citizens for prosecutorial means. It is led by a Virginia law professor. The criminalization of humanity is something I’ve written about for ages on NIT. It’s more evidence that my prophetic writings eventually will come true. Perspective on Southbridge Mall sale, sent to NIT by a reader:
This sale by U S Bank to a low end buyer, it appears, verifies the serious decline of the Southbridge Center financial sales performance of the retailers still in it plus the high % of vacant space lost rent.
Most multi tenant commercial centers have Lease Agreements that escalate the rent due as the gross sales of the Lessee increases. Each party gains when a mall is doing higher sales volume. The % amount is added to the set base rent. So when sales are in decline and vacant store fronts increase the Lease delivers less total rent to the owner. Thus the value of the property declines. Compare $1.5M to the original cost of Southbridge and best sales years Compare the highest property tax year in it’s history to the current level and what will be an even lower property tax given this $1.5M private sale.
This Southbridge sale for $1,500,000 clearly proves it’s market value decline. This is approx. a $6.00 per square foot value on this property of at least 250,000 Sq. Ft. Reflection of weak dollar sales being accomplished by the remaining Lessees and extreme % of vacant space with the trend growing worse.
The seller (U S Bank) took a big hit, loss, from what was owed on their loan to the former owner. They will, no doubt, write off their dollar amount of loss on their Fed. and Iowa taxes as much as possible. The new buyer bought a weak performing enclosed center for a bottom feeder price. Not much to loose and little to recoup
compared to the original sum invested in Southbridge. So this opens the place to become second hand center with low end renters with low level of sales performance while the new owner makes money due to a minimal price paid and little or no owner serious upgrades to the property.
Give him a free ice arena and maybe he could be set to cash out with a nice quick financial gain thanks to the various public taxes that will fund this ice palace deal.
This assumes the Chodur-G8 $11.5M hotel project achieves funding in full, soon, to meet a requirement of the MC application for $10M public financial support via the Iowa Re-Investment Act. IF the MC application final approval by the Iowa Economic Deve. Authority Board is achieved. Not a strong bet given G/8’s track record to date in Ca. and Mason City on such multi million dollar private commercial projects.
What’s wrong with this picture. The money pit called South Bridge Mall, is sold for 1.5 million. The empty Kmart building, selling for a possible 3 million.

I went googling Kaplan University tonight just for fun. According to most every review at Consumer Affairs, you should be warned about ever coming near this so-called “university”. It appears to be a huge scam with countless wronged students. Here in MC where they have a “campus” (please), they have their “DVP of Business” Julie Valencia sitting on the Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee. Sort of like a stamp of approval from them for Kaplan. Steer clear of this place, people, we have NIACC here and other options. Don’t get sucked in to this scam.

I know lots of people who have graduated from there and not one of them is working in the field the studied. They are real good at getting student loans but not so good at finding jobs.
Kaplan once wanted to send me a “web design” student to complete some work hours so she could “graduate”. I agreed and quickly found out this person could not, literally, do one thing to complete or even start a web page. Then, when I refused to sign off for this student on her “hours”, Kaplan called me up and tried to lean on me to sign anyway. This was an administrator who gave me a sob story about how I was holding her back. I told her to kick rocks, no way I am putting my name next to this land mine that could get hired (somehow, somewhere) and then claim she did work for my company. Again, avoid this place like the plague.
It’s web design not web development. They are two entirely different things (according to Kaplan). You are not taught how make a webpage, just how to make it pretty… similar to how wordpress is often reskinned and pawned off as a something built from scratch.

It was a sad day when we lost Hamilton College. A lot of people I know got great educations there back in the 60’s and 70’s and have become very successful business people. Two of them were marginal high school students who excelled there.

Bull crap. Dr. Peterson is very much a real doctor. She did a thorough neurological exam on me and found a problem with my neck from a Hoffman reflex abnormality. She ordered an MRI and I had neck surgery to correct the problem. She also prescribed a TOPICAL pain reliever for me that helps more than oral medications. Please keep in mind that she sees patients who are in chronic pain who are at the end of the rope. It took me four months to get in to see her. She has a lovely sunny personality for a physician treating patients in pain.

I was perusing the Globe Gazette letters to the editor and looked at the endorsements for Mason City Council.
Virtually every endorsement for Andy O’Brien comes from a business owner and/or a Chamber of Commerce member.
Of course they establishment is backing him. They are trying to buy the election for him. He is just a establishment puke who will be a puppet for the mayor.
That’s an organized letter-writing campaign. These people write letters in order to achieve some goal they have in mind. In this case, they want the buffoon OBRIEN elected to carry on the legacy of gaffes and embarrassment of Hickey, Solberg, Schoneman and Bookmeyer. Sometimes they write letters to intimidate people and maybe drop in there that perhaps the person getting the letter will be attacked/harmed/killed. Sound familiar?

Doug you are probably right…just as you have nothing to gain by being on here either. But here we are. Regardless of the shortcomings of this particular webpage, the potential for mass media to change minds is still very real. Collectively our subconsciouses are changing the reality we live in. The issue with executive branch is one long overdue, as you can see by the nationwide protests concerning Black Lives Matter, and challenges to established military traditions. The military issue I write about is one that irked me, because these less than perfect individuals somehow are able to stand in judgment of me, and deny me my rightful place in protecting the land I live in.
I guess what I’m saying is the premise they use to deny me is invalid. As we can see in this society as it changes before our eyes, the criteria of the past is no longer valid today. Wind turbines aren’t for novelty decorations…they are for generating electricity. The list goes on and on. With that is a full frontal attack by myself against the criteria which was used to judge me which is no longer applicable in today’s modern world. David my objectives have always been crystal clear from the start. 1. To remove drug possession charges off a person’s record after a few years time. 2. To remove drug possession charges as a barrier to enlistment if the enlistee is no longer using drugs. 3. To remove age barriers to enlistment in the military (ageism is a form of discrimination). I have other objectives pertaining to other sectors of society but these are the principle ones pertaining to the military. Basically in a nutshell, as you know, I feel that patriotism belongs to everyone and all individuals who wish to serve their communities and nation must be allowed to join in some capacity. Also is the notion of rotating police powers to all citizens, and removing the idea of standing professional police powers. Policing is a community event, not a paramilitary organization. Closing down private prisons and isolating prisoners out of group populations are other areas of reform I’ve proposed.
There are other objectives with the military as well, particularly the refocus of their mission statement to serve different needs than they presently do. At present the military serves corporations, oil companies, and defense contractors. New objectives for the military include targeting against poachers, animal abusers, human rights abusers, human traffickers, etc. The military will not discriminate. The military will be open to all *. *The only factors which will affect a citizen’s ability to enlist will be based on clear and indisputable mental instability which could affect functioning of job duties (simply being labeled “weird” is not sufficient), having a history of serious violence, being violent or unstable that it affects or could credibly affect the stability and safety of other members. Having a criminal history which involves victims. (Victimless cries such as simple drug possession charges will not be counted). Being physically, mentally abusive to others.

Stop with your bullshit. Todd Blodgett should be more concerned with comments by people such as yourself alleging that he is capable of murder…what does worse to a reputation? If it’s true what you write…well then he obviously doesn’t belong on the streets now does he? And he certainly has no business having a gun permit. Besides, I clarified my position long ago…and it was nothing insulting to Todd Blodgett…but more of a challenge to investigators to do their job properly. No one believes that Alex Kuhn story has properly been investigated.
My question was very logical and it stands. Basically I asked where was Todd Blodgett the day/night Alex Kuhn allegedly shot himself in the head. There’s nothing wrong with that question. It’s a good question actually. One which investigators should have been asking, but probably did not. So if you feel that Todd Blodgett now has justification to commit murder in the first degree because of this question, than YOU belong in an institution, or penitentiary. You obviously live in a Hollywood fantasy world of tough guys and mafia figures. You’ve elevated this Todd Blodgett to fill a childhood fantasy role for you. He’s “the guy” you go to in your minds to take care of business and make everything right. Watch the Godfather 1,2,3 and Goodfellas again ….but do so from Cherokee Mental Health Facility where doctors can monitor you and answer any questions you may have about the movies.
