Now to specifically answer you–Who provides those basic needs? The people themselves provide their own basic needs. When society is designed right, homes will rest on 1/2 acre to 1 acre plots, will harass and absorb the power of the wind and sun, and will have attached greenhouses, on-site waste processing, water catchment and wells, and will give a baseline subsistence for an average family of 1-6 people. What are the basic needs you ask? The basic needs at this point in time are water, vegetables and fruit, wind and sun energy, earth, homes / shelter built out of vast abundance of recycled materials or earth itself, electricity (sun, wind and human generated) internet connection (electrical), waste processing on site (composting toilets), and companionship. Medical care is to be freely given and dispersed amongst the populations, security is a joint cooperative endeavor, not provided by paramilitary professional civilian soldiers. When everyone has a vested interest, communities will become automatically safe.

I went to a therapist once. I was convinced that I wanted to be a trap and I was having mental breakdowns (they still persist).

Just finished Summer Semester. 1 week until Fall Semester begins. I’m at 13 credits, because I’m taking an ROTC credit to let the military know what they missed.
The military didn’t miss out on anything. They were correct to reject you. Just like everyone rejects you. I’m sure this school thing is just another phase that you will quit and fail at also, just like you’ve failed at everything. You are a professional loser and quitter. Put that on your resume.
I am sure the military is well aware of what they “missed” by enforcing the standards that kept you out of the service. I will bet the ROTC will also be aware of the same thing very soon if they are not already.
You taking an ROTC credit? That’s laughable at best. I seriously doubt you’ll finish the program. In fact I know you wont finish the program. The PFR’s (physical fitness requirements) will do you in if nothing else does. Also most of the ROTC programs have pesky little something or other about students who do not or cannot meet required standards of weight, appearance, decorum, discipline and military performance. So, I’d say you just as well drop that ruse and sign up to be a Professor of Vegan Know-it All Prophecy.

You get a phone call from your mother. Since her car has been in the shop, she asks you to go to the grocery store and pick up a few odds and ends for her. Bread, milk, cereal, and chicken breasts.

Furthermore, the police psychiatrist is at the scene and talks to you after you give your initial statement. Sitting on the front steps, you overhear the psychiatrist talking with the crime scene investigator.
“It’s not uncommon for people suffering from schizophrenia to get locked into a series of repetitive behaviors,” he says.
You think to yourself, They can’t be talking about me. Schizophrenia? No way. Repetitive behavior? Do they think I did this?
Suddenly your cell phone goes off. “Hello?”

How do you deal with the realisation that your mother resents you?
Knowing you’ll never live up her dreams and hopes for you, that you’ve done nothing of note despite being a grown man, that you’ll end your own genetic line stretching back for millennia.
I’ve just never been able to stand her, she keeps making thoughtless decisions like a 16 year old, is still critical to me, but when i tried to be critical to her she just responded with “you don’t talk like that to your mother”
As an example, one time i visited she had sold her old car and bought a brand new one, but when we were at the store she was hesitant to buy a package of ice cream bars for less than 5 bucks because “our economy isn’t that great, we need to be cautious of what we buy”
For a while i was fine with visiting her a few times a year, despite never enjoying it, because i felt it was my duty as a son. I didn’t really wanna visit, had enough of her, though i did answer some times when she called.
But then december came, and i didn’t have anywhere else to spend christmas, so i went to her. During that time things were just like before, i couldn’t stand her so i whenever she tried to start a real conversation i just instinctively shot her down. During that time she got a message from her younger sister, which is a far more mature person despite being 5 years younger. In that message the sister told her about how she (mom) didn’t have any respect for me.
So she decided to sit me down alone and try to hold a real serious apologetic conversation, during which i just never saw any reason to like her, and i figured all the things i had to say would just pain her more than necessary, and wouldn’t make any difference in how i felt about her. So i stayed silent while she babbled on and started crying (she often does this to gain sympathy)
Next day i left, and i haven’t spoken to her or messaged her since, even though she’s tried to contact me many times

Why is it that all the fights around Mason City are never reported? There we fights on 3rd and Jefferson, 13th and Georgia, 12th and Washington with large groups of people and nothing ever reported. Is the media covering up because it is African Americans fighting? Are we becoming Chicago?

This is why the Globe and KIMT are not respected in this area. They have always tried to cover up what is gong on here but will report the same stuff if happening in Rochester. I don’t care who they are if a group of people are causing this trouble the details should be made public.
#1. NIT doesn’t cover up for anyone. #2. NIT doesn’t run from anyone their has been many stories of fights that NIT reported. Maybe the reporters were all busy at the time.
Maybe there was only one reporter and he has to many things on his plate.

Soon enough, the clown show at KIMT will move along to Roch. It’s coming. They will leave a token idiot crew of 20-somethings here in town, crammed in with sales people in some downtown storefront. Then they can fool their few advertisers that they are “still here”. It makes no financial sense to continue on, but like the Globe, they are trying to save face while at the same time they are frozen by the inertia of “the old ways”, laziness, ineptitude, embarrassment, indecision and rudderless leadership.

Just got back from it. Interesting subject. It’s based around the Laurel Canyon Conspiracy Group who believe that the United States Government propagated a group of famous 60’s musicians in the Laurel Canyon Los Angeles Area to supplant the burgeoning counterculture movement of the Vietnam era. As a citizen, I am ashamed of my representative in Ward 4, Mrs. Solberg. You drove hundreds of miles to smell pig manure while you ignore blight right under your nose. You should resign from the city council for this and many other reasons which I am happy to lay out in detail.

I think it’s great that there’s four candidates interested in the open council seat. We need a council member that has the backbone to stand up to Bookmeyer and the rest of his court jesters. I lived here my whole life, and I’ve never seen so much corruption. Too many secret emails and meetings. Things need to change. I’m not saying the others arent good candidates, but we need Max.

Buzz and a few others here are ‘societal systems men’. They subscribe to manufacturing pecking order hierarchy. Blue collars on the line, white collars in the office. Of course I don’t subscribe to that, hence the facetious tone of my question. I’m in ROTC for the same reason: to break these rigid authoritarian minds out of their shells.
We KNOW you don’t subscribe to the thought of working. You are more of a “do as I say, not as I refuse to do” type. You like rules that play to your favor.
