Our schools are failing our children and young adults. They are being indoctrinated with the political views of the teachers and instructors, instead of getting an education. We as taxpayers must do something to rectify this.
What do you suggest? Take a couple of teachers from every school in America and shoot them in the town square?
Tie the tax dollars to the individual child and let parents choose where and how they want their children educated. Yes, it is going to force some of the current public schools to shut down, but they need to, they need to be forced to restructure. Throwing more and more money at an already failed system is never the solution and is completely insane. For the record I believe there are a lot of good teachers out there but their hands are tied by a corrupt bureaucratic system… Where good teachers are seldom rewarded and the incompetent ones can never be fired.
Great idea. I am gonna have 12 kids and I can get somewhere between 5000-7000 a year per kid to teach them myself. Plus I can get them to work at the bar for $2 an hour to pay their rent. I got it made! And my kids are gonna be dumber than me! Even better.

Sex trafficking victims can be as young as children or in early adulthood. Sometimes these victims are continually victimized from their mid-teens to their early 30s. If we look at labor trafficking, the age spread is even greater. There is no common socioeconomic or racial background of victims; they can come from poor or rich households. The only general commonality for sex trafficking victims is there is a history of some form of abuse in their background, whether that is sexual, physical and/or emotional abuse. This is common in ~95% of victims.”
Victims can be seen in plain sight, screaming on the inside for help but unable to step forward out of fear or conflicting emotions. Trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery happening in all fifty-states and must be addressed by every facet of government, from Congress to City Council. Law enforcement, from state to federal, needs to target the traffickers money and assets to take them out of commission.

Mr. President, this is a day of solemnity and awe. I rise humbled that we are participating in a process that was mapped out more than 200 years ago by the Founding Fathers and that the words we say today will be looked upon by historians and future Congresses for guidance. That is quite a responsibility.
I began this process in the House where it degenerated quickly into bitter acrimony. I would like to say to Majority Leader [Trent] Lott and Minority Leader [Tom] Daschle, and to my new colleagues who have wrestled with this case, that I deeply appreciate your fairness and patience and the way this has been handled with such dignity in the Senate.
Growing up, our country and its government seemed like a mighty oak — strong, rooted, permanent, and grand.
It has shaken me that we stand at the brink of removing a President — not because of a popular groundswell to remove him and not because of the magnitude of the wrongs he’s committed — but because conditions in late 20th century America has made it possible for a small group of people who hate Bill Clinton and hate his policies to very cleverly and very doggedly exploit the institutions of freedom that we hold dear and almost succeed in undoing him.

CNN and MSDNC did their part as well about white nationalists descending into Richmond, except that they didn’t:

Fifteen states and the district have already passed the compact, giving the measure 196 of the 270 Electoral College votes necessary for it to take effect. With momentum for reform building in New Hampshire, one pundit is actually suggesting that the Granite State defy federal law, specifically section 3, title 3 of the U.S. code — a provision in effect since 1887 — to throw a monkey wrench into the final nationwide tally for president. This particularly nutty idea would involve New Hampshire refusing to submit the state’s official vote count until after electors meet to officially determine the new president and vice president in the December following an election. Without a final national popular vote tally, the reasoning goes, the president and vice president could not be legally certified. One can only imagine federal marshals breaking down the door of the N.H. Secretary of State’s office to secure the vote ledger. Why are you so afraid of the United States Constitution?
Under article 2, section 1, the Framers specifically granted state legislatures the right to allocate their electoral votes in any manner they see fit. The 16 jurisdictions that have passed the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact bill have done so under the full authority of the Constitution. Did the Founders get it wrong? Why are you so afraid of the American people? Why are you so afraid of including and empowering small states and rural states that are all but ignored under the current system? Why are you so afraid of a boost in nationwide voter turnout?
