Jenner is actually very conservative. Just because it had a sex change does not change its history on political views. But I like that most people judge it based on being a transsexuals’ because likely libtards in CA will elect him based on that and it will do a much better job than Newsom ever could bring CA back.

I think they are going to activate those Jewish space lasers to wipe out Mar a lago. Or perhaps use the divorce to distract the US population while they put microchips into the water supply. Or maybe they are going to write off the lawyer’s fees so they can make a few bucks. Something has to be done. These people have given away 60 billion dollars and refuse to leave their entire fortune to their children when they die. How cruel. Perhaps we should charge them with child abuse. What child could live on a palty 50 million dollars? They deserve the entire 130 billion.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR CONSTRUCTION OF “WINNEBAGO RIVER LOW HEAD DAM MITIGATION – WINNEBAGO DAM NO. 1”, IN AND FOR THE CITY OF MASON CITY, IOWA, AND THE TAKING OF BIDS FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed proposals, subject to the conditions contained herein, will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Mason City, Iowa, at the City Clerk’s office in City Hall at Mason City, Iowa, until 10:00 o’clock a.m. on the 26th day of May, 2021 for:

Construction of “Winnebago River Low Head Dam Mitigation – Winnebago Dam No. 1”, as hereinafter described in general and as described in detail in the plans and specifications now on file in the office of the City Clerk, Mason City, Iowa.

Proposals received will be opened, read aloud, tabulated, and referred to the City Council for consideration at 7:00 p.m. on the 1st day of June, 2021. Bids will be acted upon at such time or at such later time as may then be fixed. Prior thereto, at said time specified above, in the Mason City Room at the Mason City Public Library, a hearing will be held on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for said Improvements, and at said hearing any interested person may appear and file objections thereto.

The extent of the work involved is the furnishing of labor and new materials for the construction of mitigation measures for the existing low head dam located on the Winnebago River south of 12th Street. The work will generally involve the construction of rock weirs and formations in the river, modifications to storm a sewer outfall, and related work.

The Proposal shall be made out on the form furnished by the City of Mason City and obtained from WHKS & Co., Engineers, Planners, and Surveyors, and must be accompanied in a sealed envelope by either: (1) a certified check, or a cashier’s check drawn on an Iowa bank, or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States, in an amount of 5% of bid amount; or (2) a certified share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States, in an amount of 5% of bid amount; or (3) a bid bond executed by a corporation authorized to contract as a surety in the State of Iowa, in the penal sum of 5% of bid amount.

The bid security shall be made payable to the City Clerk of the City of Mason City, Iowa.

The bid security must not contain any conditions either in body or as an endorsement thereon. The bid security shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into contract within ten (10) days after the award of contract and post bond satisfactory to the City insuring the faithful fulfillment of the contract and the maintenance of said work, if required, pursuant to the provisions of this notice and the other contract documents. The City will accept bid bond forms that meet the Requirements of Iowa Code, Section 26.8.

Sales Tax Exemption. Contractors and subcontractors shall not include sales tax for material purchases. At the time of the contract acceptance by the City Council, the prime contractor and all subcontractors will be issued a certificate of exemption.

Bidders shall not be permitted to withdraw their bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the same are opened.

By virtue of statutory authority, a preference will be given to products and provisions grown and produced within the State of Iowa and to Iowa domestic labor.

In accordance with Iowa statutes, a resident bidder shall be allowed a preference as against a nonresident bidder from a state or foreign country if that state or foreign country gives or requires any preference to bidders from that state or foreign country, including but not limited to any preference to bidders, the imposition of any type of labor force preference, or any other form of preferential treatment to bidders or laborers from that state or foreign country. The preference shall be equal to the preference given or required by the state or foreign country in which the nonresident bidder is a resident. In the instance of a resident labor force preference, a nonresident bidder shall apply the same resident labor force preference to a public improvement in this state as would be required in the construction of a public improvement by the state or foreign country in which the nonresident bidder is a resident.

Bidders will be required to complete a Bidder Status Form from the Iowa Department of Labor regarding the Contractor’s resident status within the State of Iowa. Failure to submit a fully completed Bidder Status Form with the bid may result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and rejected.

Pursuant to City Ordinance No. 94-3, legally known as Title I, Chapter 10, of the Municipal code, general bidders shall include Form DBE 1. Prospective bidders’ or contractors’ attention is specifically called to the Mason City Human Rights Commission Specifications which mandates that female and minority business enterprises shall be afforded the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of this project. Prospective bidders’ or contractors’ attention is also directed to the fact that the Mason City Human Rights Commission may notify firms designated as Minority, Women, and/or Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, of this project and determine if they are interested in participating as subcontractors for this project. Prospective bidders or contractors shall then be notified by the Commission of those interested parties. Determination of certification of compliance with these specifications shall be conducted by the Mason City Human Rights Director, following receipt of bids from prospective bidders or contractors.

The established DBE goal for this project is 0% of the total project amount. The goals are subject to waiver by the commission.

The right is reserved, as the interest of the City may require, to reject all bids, any unresponsive bid and to waive technicalities in bids received.

The Contractor shall commence work after Notice to Proceed is issued and shall be completed on or before November 26th, 2021.

Payment to the Contractor for said Project will be made in cash derived from the proceeds of the issuance of bonds as may be legally used for such purposes, governmental grants and/or from cash on hand. Any combination of the above methods of payment may be used at the discretion of the Owner.

The Contractor will be paid each month ninetyfive (95) percent of the Engineer’s estimate of the value of acceptable work completed at the end of the preceding month. Final payment will be made in accordance with Iowa Code chapters 26 and 573, as amended. No partial or final payment will be due until the Contractor has certified to the City that the materials, labor and services involved in each estimate have been paid for in accordance with the requirements stated in the specifications.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a bond in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract price, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the Owner and which shall guarantee a faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor and protect and save harmless the Owner from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the Contractor and shall also guarantee the maintenance of the improvements constructed for a period of one (1) year after completion and acceptance by the Owner.

Plans and specifications governing the construction of the proposed improvements have been prepared by WHKS & Co., Engineers, Planners, and Surveyors, which plans and specifications and the proceedings of the Owner referring to and defining said proposed improvements are hereby made a part of the Notice by reference, and the proposed contract shall be executed in compliance therewith. Copies of said plans and specifications are now on file with the City Clerk and at the offices of WHKS & Co., and may be examined by the bidders.

Plans and specifications are available to download free of charge at http://www.questcdn.com. Plans and specifications for private use may also be obtained from WHKS & Co., Engineers, Planners, and Surveyors, 1412 6th Street SW, Mason City, IA 50402-1467, for a refundable deposit of $100.00. If the plans and specifications are not returned to WHKS & Co. within fourteen (14) days after the award of the project and in reusable condition, the deposit shall be forfeited.

Published upon order of the City Council of the City of Mason City, Iowa.

Perhaps for the trumpettes, it is looking bad but for rational, thinking people, it is pretty clear. Doug Logan, the head of Cyber Monkeys the company doing the audit, said last week when asked about Sidney Powell’s statement that “no reasonable person would believe her claims about fraud in the 2020 election” that he still believed her claims. It is not surprising that a member of January 6th insurrection at the Capitol is one of the counters. Or that the watermark that they claim is mysteriously missing, was never on the ballots in the first place. They will most likely come up with a statement saying there were some problems with some of the ballots that cannot be explained and then disappear. That will allow you trumpettes another claim that is based on bs.

CHARLES CITY – Hydrant flushing to start May 3
Water department will start flushing hydrants May 3

The Charles City Water Department will begin flushing the City’s water distribution system on May 3rd, 2021 and will finish by May 28th.

Annual flushing of the hydrants is necessary to remove any deposits that may build up on the interior walls of the underground water mains. This process is necessary to ensure that water quality is maintained throughout the system. Customers may experience fluctuations in pressure and/or discoloration of their water during flushing.

It also allows the Water Department to operate all fire hydrants in the distribution system and identify any maintenance requirements for each fire hydrant on an individual basis.

If you experience discolored water, run your cold water tap until it clears. During periods of discoloration, postpone washing clothes and limit your use of hot water. Any issues will be resolved in a short time.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Water Department at 641-257-6315.

That’s because it is a law system. Its geared toward profit. Walmart doesn’t euthanize customers that havent showered in weeks or slept in days. They’d be out of business in a week. Same with cops and courts. If you actually kept the violent criminals behind bars they couldn’t generate income multiple times before their lifestyle kills them. Law systems are not at all concerned with or operated with anything intent to provide justice for anyone. Just revenue for the city, county and state coffers. News flash, law enforcement, courts, local government and up dont give a shit about you or anyone else.

When is Biden going to hang a medal on this officer and hail him a national hero? He is a damn good officer who did what he needed to with extreme speed and accuracy. When is someone going to bring charges and shame black male that was kicking a woman in her head? When will we see justice served for the poor victims of that fat, disgusting, idiotic knife wielding piece of shit? When will we see the right thing be done? Do you think that fat homicidal idiot liked cake? I’m going to eat cake today to celebrate that two lives where saved from a utterly pointless violent piece of garbage and the miracle that the justified shooting is easily confirmed from the good footage that shows clearly nothing but the truth that a disturbed, out of control, psychotic was put down before being allowed to murder a person and possibly a small dog. That’s the thing about wal mart ppl. They dont care that walmart is selling them lower quality products for the savings. Literally walmart contracts manufacturers to make lesser quality versions of products just for walmart, low quality control and materials you can google that shit. They dont care that half the ppl shopping around them have pajama pants on at 3:45 on a wed afternoon. Not to mention all the trailer trash that would have to venture out further and all the illegals that hit Walmart like a tidal wave once or twice a month.
