MASON CITY – Police were called to a Mason City residence Friday night for a disturbance and took a woman to jail.
After an emergency call, police were sent to 1507 8th Street SW at about 8 PM to deal with a physical domestic situation. After an investigation at the scene, police arrested 48-year-old Shawna Roque Servantez on a charge of serious domestic abuse assault.
Servantez was taken to the county jail and processed before she was released, pending a court date.
