CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man was taken to jail after police investigated a domestic incident.
Charles City police located and arrested 31-year-old Justin Mayberry of Charles City on March 15 after they investigated a domestic incident that took place on March 12, 2015. Mayberry was jailed and released from jail the next day on his own recognizance as he awaits an April 3, 2015 preliminary hearing.
According to his social media page, Mayberry said “My life is in her hands after tonight it’s in God’s hands hope this time it works love you mom it will be better this way.” To which his friend replied “Try thinking about your children, and your mother’s health.”
