Illegal Mexican alien caught in Iowa sentenced to time served

gavel-justiceCEDAR RAPIDS – A man who re-entered the United States following a felony conviction was sentenced on January 8, 2015, to time served.

Leonardo Vega-Delarosa, age 25, from Mexico, received the prison term after a November 5, 2014, guilty plea to one count of illegal re-entry.

At the guilty plea, Vega-Delarosa admitted he had re-entered the United States without permission after being removed from the country on May 17, 2013. On September 18, 2014, Vega-Delarosa was encountered by ICE agents after being arrested in Woodbury County for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Vega-Delarosa was sentenced in Sioux City by United States District Court Judge Mark W. Bennett. Vega-Delarosa was sentenced to time served. He must serve a 1-year term of supervised release.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Kevin C. Fletcher and investigated by HSI and the Enforcement and Removal Office of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Bureau.

What a bunch of crap. This is the kind of guy Obama wants to give amnesty to.

If he’s here illegally, and, a convicted felon, who’s going to babysit him for a year???? This doesn’t make sense. Oh wait, the obamanater says it’s OK, so it must be. It’s time to quit pussy footing around with these leaches. Take him to the border, pop a cap in him, he won’t be back to cause any more trouble.
