MASON CITY – A Mason City man is facing felony charges after a domestic incident at his home.
Dustin Alan Reich, age 27, was arrested after police were called to his house at 1718 North Penn Avenue on January 5. Officers had been dispatched there after an emergency call about a physical domestic. After an investigation, Reich was taken to jail on charges of felony domestic assault (their for subsequent offense) and felony domestic abuse assault involving strangulation.
Reich is being held on no bond as he is also charged with violating his probation in connection with a felony domestic assault he was convicted of last year. That case also involved strangulation. He could face unto 5 years in prison if a judge decides to impose his previous suspended jail term.
Just like his brother. Wonder if he will just get a slap on the wrist too?
