MASON CITY – A man who committed a burglary in Clear Lake nearly 5 years ago was brought to jail, wanted on a warrant connected to that crime.
Jeffrey Ross, age 45, was caught and arrested in Marshall county on November 12. He has been wanted on a warrant since October in connection with a probation violation in a guilty plea to a Clear Lake burglary incident that took place in January of 2010. Ross still owes over $1,700 in court costs and other fees n that case, prompting the probation violation.
Ross is being held on $5,000 cash bond until his next court date.
