MASON CITY – Cops in Manly delivered a wanted Minnesota woman to Cerro Gordo deputies and took her to jail.
Stacia Lynn Beers, age 31, was picked up by Manly police on November 11 and handed off to Cerro Gordo deputies. Beers was wanted on a warrant in connection to a drug case from 2013. She was supposed to serve 7 days in jail after a guilty plea last October in Cerro Gordo district court to second offense drug possession but failed to show up, and had been wanted ever since. She is also accused of violating the probation she was given in that case.
Beers is now serving her 7 day jail term and is awaiting a December 12 probation violation hearing.
