Mason City man jailed for violating probation, joins bro in slammer

MASON CITY – A Mason City man is in jail Thursday for violating terms of his probation related to eluding and drug possession.

Travis Jay Bailey, age 45, was found guilty on May 19 of violating probation related to his 2012 guilty plea to felony eluding and drug possession.

Bailey was sentenced to 7 days in jail by Judge Annette Boehlje. He is serving that sentence at this time.

Earlier this week, Travis Bailey’s younger brother, 41-year-old Ryan Jon Bailey, was arrested on charges of serious domestic assault and simple assault at an apartment house 417 2nd Street NW, owned Travis Bailey.
