MASON CITY – Pending favorable weather conditions, the City of Mason City will be treating the city owned parking lots in the downtown area and city facilities including City Hall, Police Department, etc. for weed control on Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
Residents are asked to avoid these areas if at all possible during this time.
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for the product to be applied are available in the City Administrator’s office located on the 1st Floor of City Hall.

I guess spraying is easier than cutting and pulling. Of course then you have dead weeds sticking up all over.
Right, then there will be dead weeds standing erect. You gotta PULL them! Or try weed eating THEN spray them like the week before Ragbrai. Almost time for the upwards of 10,000 guests to arrive. Get busy people!
