People should really think before they go and say what was the kid doing. As drivers we are ALL taught to be on High alert of our surroundings especially for children. Bottom line is with out knowing the details of these events its an incredibly sad outcome!

Not to pick on old drivers but some older drivers need not be driving, and with all the cell phone drivers it only takes a second to miss someone coming out between cars

@2old2fat-Just because the lady is 73 doesn’t mean she was at fault. What was the child doing in the road? I have seen 90 year olds that drive better than a lot of 25 year olds. Then again, I have seen 70 year olds that scare the hell out of me. In other words, everyone is different.

LOL!

That took talent

@Anonymouse-That is a jerk thing to say when a young boy was killed.

Terrible thing to happen. I can’t imagine how badly the lady who hit the child must feel. Years ago I hit a child who rode his bike out from behind a bush. Luckily he was O.K. but I thought I was going to have a heart attack. He was more worried about me telling his parents than anything else. My heart goes out to these people.

What a terrible tragedy for everyone involved.
