Rockford man picked up on warrant in Benton county

BENTON COUNTY, IOWA – A Rockford man was picked up by police in Benton county on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Benton county sheriffs arrested Emanuel Curtis Receveur III – AKA “Skunk” – on April 22 on a warrant on a charge of fifth degree theft brought by Waverly police on April 8.  Receveur was later transported to the Bremer County Jail and released.  He awaits a May 13 non-jury trial.

Receveur is a convicted felon on charges of terrorism and robbery out of Black Hawk county.
