MASON CITY – A Nora Springs woman was arrested early Sunday morning for drunk driving.
Cerro Gordo county deputies stopped a vehicle driven by Skye Sierra Rottinghaus, age 19, at the 2000 block of South Federal Avenue at about 2:03 AM.
A breath alcohol test was performed by the arresting officer on April 6 at 2:58 AM on a female subject, the only test performed April 5 on a female (the actual name is not released by law enforcement). The subject registered a 0.172 on both tests, over double the legal alcohol limit.
Rottinghaus was placed under arrest for first offense operating while intoxicated and jailed. She was later released, pending a court date.
