VOLGOGRAD – Reports indicated Sunday that at least 16 people were killed and 30 or more injured after a female suicide bomber struck a railway station in the city of Volgograd, formerly known as Stalingrad, some 600 miles southwest of Moscow.
AndersFogh Rasmussen, the NATO Secretary General said there can be “no justification for such barbarous attacks. NATO and Russia stand together in the fight against terrorism, including by working together on technology to prevent attacks on public transport systems.”
