BADGER, IOWA – A Humboldt man was killed Wednesday after a collision in heavy fog.
According to a report, 90 year-old Joseph Earl Colwell was driving his 1998 Buick Park Avenue Wednesday at about 10:14 PM northbound on Highway P-59 entering the town of Badger when he failed to negotiate at a t-intersection, continuing straight.
Colwell’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a semi-trailer that was properly parked in an adjacent lot.
An investigation is on-going by authorities.
