WASHINGTON – In a fundraising letter sent today, Iowa Republican Congressman Steve King said that the Affordable Care Act is an “abomination of a law” and asked for money for his re-election campaign.
Rep. King blamed Senate Democrats for the passing and implementation of “Obamacare,” saying that “I drafted the first legislation to repeal ObamaCare the morning after it passed. I also was the first to draft legislation to defund ObamaCare. In the U.S. House of Representatives we have passed both repeal and defund legislation, but this government takeover of healthcare has remained in place because of the liberal Democrats in the Senate.”
Rep. King appealed to his supporters for help in repealing and defunding the health care law.
“We will need help from dedicated patriots like you to finally rid our Country of this abomination of a law.
“September 30th marks the first major fundraising deadline in my bid for re-election. The national Democrats who want to replace me with an out-of-touch liberal Obamacare advocate will do everything in their power to remove me from the U.S. House of Representatives. “

Eric is giving Stevie a snuggie.
King is right and most people know it -the rest of the people a too stupid to admit it or are public servants/welfare receipents or illeagals already covered by the working poors tax donations.
So is the story about King or “The Mayor”. Time to photo shop a new picture of Congressman King for your stories NIT.
What do you mean? Steve King is clearly front and center in the photo.
Haha love that picture, just shows how much Bookee and King are alike, probably best friends both out of touch with common humans, I wonder sometimes if they are both aliens from outer space. I wouldnt trust either one of em further than I could throw em. I think eric is giving ole kingy boy the ‘silent massage’ hehehe.
If “both (are) out of touch with common humans” then how did they get elected Carter? Apparently both live in areas populated by “uncommon humans”; perhaps they’re even “exceptional” humans?
I’ll take McCarthyism for 1000 Alex.
Go Steve Go!!! right back to Kiron where you can’t embarrass your constituents anymore.
Ah, the “shame offensive”. He “embarrasses” you so he should go home.
Why not look at the issues instead of the using the politics of personality as a defense?
Go Steve Go! !!!!!
Ask Mr. King what the solution is to our health care woes and he goes into a rant about the ACA. He will tell you that there is nothing wrong with health care the way it was. And he will then go back to the House and enjoy his healthcare plan for the rest of his career and beyond.
Yep King will live off the public for the rest of his life just like eric will live off his wife for the rest of his life. Freeloaders with no shame.
