MASON CITY – A feisty Mason City man is doing jail time for assaulting local law enforcement.
James Lee Stricker began a 30 day jail sentence earlier this month. According to police, Stricker “was arrested March 31, 2013 for harassment and interference. During the arrest, he resisted by attempting not to be handcuffed; punching an officer in the face; kicking at officers, and spitting on one of the officer’s faces.”
Stricker will be released from jail on October 7th.
