MASON CITY – A local woman was arrested for public intoxication this past weekend.
Raquel Marie Hadacek, police reported, was “walking very intoxicated” in the 400 block of West State on the afternoon of September 15th at around 4:36 pm.
Hadacek was reportedly walking very intoxicated in the 400 block of West State yesterday afternoon around 4:36 pm. “A citizen reported her impaired behavior,” police told NIT.
Police arrested Ms. Hadacek for public intoxication, 3rd or subsequent offense (an Aggravated misdemeanor) and took her to jail.
Records show Hadacek has been charged with public intoxication violations at least 26 times in the past eight years and convicted at least 22 times.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
Mental health issues untreated leaving people to self medicate with alcohol and drugs all the time. The family has a history of mental health and some seem unwilling to help her because they don’t want their own mental health illness brought to light
And have the same only some family take their mental health meds keeping it managed some. She needs someone responsible in her life to encourage her to take her mental health meds to stable out. Sad when wanting to hide mental health of family seems to become priority over helping one in the family struggling to do so.
she has to want help as we all know you can send her to a treatment center a 100 times but until she wants to get sober and stay sober its a waste of tax payers money. You know it (opinion) and so does everyone else who knows Rachel.

This person needs help, NOT ridicule.
She used to crash at my house about 10 years ago. She liked to party!
That would save someone a lot of grief if this drunken wacko would walk out in front of them and she got killed.
Sounds like she will be doing some rehab time. She should before she ends up dead in a alley somewhere.
