MASON CITY – The fourth time is not a charm for a Mason City woman accused of domestic assault.
Brianna Marie Hansen-simmer, 21, is in the Cerro Gordo County Jail at this time on a charge of aggravated domestic assault. She was arrested at about 5 AM Sunday morning and then released on her own recognizance.
Records show that Hansen-simmer was charged with domestic assault twice in 2010 and once 2011. She was convicted once and the other two charges were dismissed.
Hansen-simmer is awaiting trial on October 22nd for second offense operating while intoxicated.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
