WASHINGTON – Former presidential candidate Ron Paul is warning citizens that there is a push in Washington D.C. to attach National ID’s to an immigration bill.

On Wednesday, Paul warned that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid “could force a vote at ANY hour – ANY day now.”

“With Harry Reid calling the shots in the U.S. Senate, there’s literally not a moment to waste,” Paul said.

Paul claims that “The so-called ‘Comprehensive Immigration Reform’ proposal being touted by Senators Chuck Schumer and John McCain includes a de facto National ID system that would be required for all U.S. citizens in order to hold a job legally; and a National Database with biometric information would also be created, allowing government bureaucrats to track an American’s every move.”

  1. The #1 priority on immigration is to SECURE OUR BORDERS. Once that is done we can have a discussion on the other parts of the issue. We need to do something with the all the people here illegally, but until the borders are secure nothing else can even be brought up. My solution: Our national elected officials do not get paid or have health insurance coverage until our borders are secure.

  2. Quit wasting precious time with this worthless immigration issue. Close the fricking border and start solving our employment issues, government ethical issues, energy issues, infrastructure issues…..the important things. And Americans, quit electing idiots or else!!
