MASON CITY, IOWA – MOM Brands of St. Ansgar announced their fundraising results of the annual cereal sale on June 15. Malt-O-Meal has raised $6,701 to benefit United Way of North Central Iowa.
Hundreds of people lined up to purchase bags of different Malt-O-Meal cereals for $1 each. All proceeds will help United Way invest even more in north central Iowa, including Mitchell County.
“Thank you to MOM Brands, the volunteers and everyone that supported the cereal sale. We are grateful to partner with Malt-O-Meal and have such a successful event.” said Jennifer Kammeyer, United Way’s Chief Professional Officer.
