MASON CITY – A St. Ansgar man was arrested on Saturday afternoon after allegedly trying to steal a sexual pleasure device.
According to a citation, Todd Michael Kunkel, 18, was at the Pure Pleausure store located at 10480 265th Street when he concealed a vibrating lover thong in his pocket and tried to walk out of the store. Kunkel had allegedly taken the item out of its box prior to concealing it in his pocket. The item is valued at $38.99.
Kunkel was arrested for shoplifting for fifth degree theft and taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail where he was booked and photographed.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
