MASON CITY – Chelsey Jacox scored 15 points and Morgan Walker scored 12 points to lead the NIACC women to a 58-55 victory over No. 15 DMACC in ICCAC basketball action Wednesday night in the NIACC gym.
Jacox, a freshman guard, was playing for the first time in two weeks. She had been out of the lineup with a knee injury.
NIACC led 31-29 at the half and outscored the Bears 27-26 in the second half.
The Lady Trojans also received six points, six rebounds and four steals from freshman Jessica Rogers.
The Lady Trojans played the majority of the second half without freshman post Lashae Brooks, who went down with an ankle injury.
