LONE TREE, IOWA – An Iowa teen has lost her life Sunday morning in a 2 car accident in southeast Iowa near Lone Tree.
According to a report, a vehicle being driven by 18 year-old Angela Marie Harrison of Washington, Iowa crossed the center line while traveling westbound on Iowa Highway 22 near the intersection of Utah Avenue and struck head-on an eastbound vehicle with two male occupants.
All three accident victims were transported the University Hospitals in Iowa City. Harrison was pronounced dead and the two males had non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
