MASON CITY – A Mason City man and convicted felon was arrested Friday after police received a report of a drunken man walking down the street.
Robert Alan Blau, 30, was picked up at about 4 PM Friday afternoon after police located him in 600 block of South Van Buren Avenue walking down the street, allegedly intoxicated.
Blau was charged with public intoxication and unlawful possession of prescription drugs in addition to two outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Blau had a warrants out for his arrest in connection with an interference with official acts charge from a citation from Mason City police and a charge of operating a vehicle without owner’s consent from a citation from Clear Lake police.
In addition to a long list of other charges, Blau is a convicted felon after being found guilty of 3rd degree burglary in 2001.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
