“Meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia” revealed in search warrant at Mason City house

MASON CITY – On Friday November 30, 2012 about 1254 hours, Deputies with the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Mason City Police Department served a search warrant at a residence located at 1043 4th Street Southwest in Mason City.

The search of the residence revealed quantities of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A traffic stop by a Cerro Gordo County deputy at 7th South Federal in Mason City was done in conjunction with the search warrant. As a result of the traffic stop quantities of methamphetamine, marijuana, a 9mm handgun and a large sum of currency was confiscated. The confiscated handgun was reported stolen on November 12, 2012 in Franklin County, Iowa. The following persons were arrested and charged with offenses related to the search warrant and traffic stop:

Amanda Marie Eldridge, Age 33, 1043 4th Street Southwest Mason City, Iowa–

Class “B” Felony Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver

Serious Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana

Bond $100,000.00

Stephen Lynn Collins, age 26, 1043 4th Street Southwest Mason City, Iowa—

Aggravated Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree

Aggravated Misdemeanor Carrying a Concealed Weapon without a Permit

Bond $3,000.00

SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

Amanda Eldridge and Stephen Collins were transported to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and are being held for bond.
