WATERLOO – On Thursday, October 11, 2012 at approximately 3:45 PM, Waterloo Police were dispatched to the 5 Star Snacks and More Store, 315 Fletcher Avenue, on report of a robbery. A white male came into the store, showed a gun and demanded money. The suspect then left in a red truck.
A short time later, police located a red truck a few blocks away. A house was searched and police arrested Kevin Michael Reid, age 39, of West Union, Iowa. He was charged with Robbery in the 1st degree. The gun used in the robbery and the money taken during the robbery were recovered by police.
Reid remains in the Black Hawk County Jail on NO bond pending his initial court appearance.
